The Doctor's Office

Lily sat down at a chair, crossing her legs and picking up a magazine. She had recently reached the age of 30, and at the behest of her mother, decided to stop at the doctor for a check up. She was currently in the waiting room, which was rather empty at the moment, and having nothing else to do, she decided to read one of the magazines. It was several months old, though, and soon found herself rather bored, setting it down and looking around the waiting room.

It was kinda bland, with pale white walls and black waiting chairs. The only color in the entire place was the kid's area next to her. She found herself looking over and smiling softly, as she saw the bright red rug with a small toy chest with small plastic toys, a wooden train set, and a small table holding a small structure with several plastic wires on them, a line of beads on each wire. Lily found herself staring at them, almost transfixed. She could remember how, when she was younger, she always loved playing with this thing, even if it was kind of useless, she thought. You would just move the beads to one side... Then back to the other...

With a click of beads hitting the platform, she shook her head. Her hand had reached over, and was moving one of them around. She blushed, shrinking back and looking around, as if to make sure she hadn't been seen. She was alone, of course, but it still felt embarrassing to be seen playing with a kids toy...

Deep down, however, as she pushed that bead, something inside her lit up. And as she looked back over, that same thing told her to do it again. Her two sides fought internally for a moment, before slowly, she reached over, pushing another bead. As it slowly spun around a small piece of wire and settled in the middle, Lily found herself smiling, moving another... Then another... Then two more...

Before she even realized, she was sitting on her knees in front of the Around Beads table. Despite how embarrassed she felt, she couldn't help but giggle as she moved the beads around. She was almost hypnotized, moving several at a time, trying to make little designs, sometimes acting like they were some kind of high tech train or simply just amusing herself from the sound they made as several of them fell to the table, making several clicking noises.

After a few minutes, her knees started to become uncomfortable. She readjusted herself, splaying her legs out in front of her. She expected to feel the red rug on her bottom, but instead, she felt a soft cushioning, followed by a crinkling noise. She should have been worried by this unexpected sound, but she didn't seem bothered, as she continued to play with the beads on a wire, which now seemed a bit taller than her, despite being at face height when she was kneeling. She simply shrugged, looking up and and continuing to play...

... Or at least, she continued to play until she could no longer reach it while sitting down. Slowly, she got up to her now smaller legs, putting her hands on the edge of the table and looking up, her head just barely reaching over the edge of the rather short piece of furniture. She tried to reach up to the pink beads she admired so much, but for some reason, they were just out of reach, on the tallest wire... She gave several grunts of frustration, even jumping a little to reach it, but it was all in vain. Giving a little whine, she toddled off, looking for something else to do...

Her attention was quickly taken up by the toy chest, which caused her to smile, waddling over quickly and opening it. She looked around in it, before spying a pink plush bunny near the bottom. Giving an excited squeak, she leaned over the edge, trying to reach it. It seemed in her reach, but just as she was about to grab it, it seemed to go a few inches away... She got on her tip toes, trying as hard as she could to reach it. Her feet even seemed to leave the ground, as she finally grabbed it's ear, pulling it out. The force of the pull put her off balance on the edge, though, and with a small 'oof', she fell on her diapered bottom, seeming confused for a second...

The confusion left, however, as she looked down at the small bunny. With a rather joyous smile, she hugged it tightly, even her legs wrapping around it a little bit. She seemed content, not even seeming to mind as she fell over backwards, her chubby little legs kicking as she slowly reached her toothless mouth down, starting to chew on the bunny's ear, as she stared up at the ceiling, painted blue with clouds...

She soon felt herself being lifted up and cradled. "Alright, Lilypad, it's time for your check up!" her mother said, ticking her belly a little bit, causing Lily to giggle. She walked over to the doctor, who smiled and waved down at the small girl. "30 weeks old already, can you believe it?" Lily's mom said, as she handed the girl over.

"It won't be long before she is coming in here on her own!" the doctor said, cooing a little as she walked back to the examination room. Lily's mom giggled a little bit, closing the door behind them. "Well, she will have to learn how to wipe her own butt before she can even think of coming in on her own!"
